Remembrance Ride 2014

On Saturday 2nd August the team of cyclists departed from the Luton Memorial and rode 200 miles to Flanders to coincide with the 100th Anniversary of when Great Britain declared war.

The ride was part of Luton’s remembrance programme. If you have driven through the town centre recently you will have seen the poppies flowering. We will continue with this campaign hopefully for the 4 year taking us to 2018.
